Privacy

The short version: openHUB has no account, no analytics and no ads.

What openHUB stores

Your playlist details — M3U/M3U8 URL, or Xtream host, username and password — are stored only in the app's private storage on the device. They are never sent to us. There is no openHUB account, backend or sync service.

App settings (sports source, TV guide toggle, player preferences) and caches (parsed EPG, last channel list) are also kept on the device.

What openHUB does not collect

  • No account, email address or phone number
  • No analytics, crash reporting or advertising SDK
  • No device identifiers, location or contacts access
  • No telemetry about what you watch

Network requests

When you use the app, it connects directly to:

  • Your IPTV provider, using the line you configured
  • Public sports endpoints — ESPN scoreboards, SofaScore schedules and TV listings, and Rezultati.com TV listings — to show scores and match channels
  • The EPG/XMLTV URL you configure, or the guide URL supplied by your playlist

These requests go from your device to those services; they are not proxied through openHUB. Their own privacy policies apply to them.

Permissions

openHUB requests internet access and network state. It does not request location, camera, microphone or contacts. Installing the APK is handled by Android's package installer.

This website

This is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and loads no third-party resources. Cloudflare processes standard request logs as the host, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Children

openHUB is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes too. The app itself will not start collecting data without a visible change in the release notes.
